1.1. Battlefield Geometry and Key Terrain:
AOR Update: Active axes remain in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Black Sea, Azov Sea, Sumy Oblast, Russian Federation border regions (Kursk, Bryansk, Belgorod), and the Donetsk axis (Konstantinovka-Yablonovka, Konstantinovka-Nelepovka, Mirnoye, Stupochki, Otradnoe, Kotlyarivka, Romanivka, Chasiv Yar, Pokrovsk). Chernihiv Oblast, Rivne Oblast, Zhytomyr Oblast, Volyn Oblast, Mykolaiv Oblast, Kirovohrad Oblast, Cherkasy Oblast, and Vinnytsia Oblast remain under aerial attack. Odesa Oblast and Black Sea region under active missile and UAV threat. Kremenchuk/Svetlovodsk axis remains an area of interest. Kryvyi Rih reports situation controlled. Kharkiv Oblast has sustained strikes on 9 settlements and shows significant fire damage. Zaporizhzhia suburbs are under active reconnaissance drone threat. Kursk Oblast (Khalino Airfield, Sudzha) shows new defensive infrastructure and active combat. Kazan, Russia, is experiencing a major industrial fire. Rylsk, Kursk Oblast, under renewed RSZO attack. Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (specifically Synelnykove district) confirmed under aviation weapon threat. Nikopol, Dnipropetropvs'k Oblast, sustained artillery and UAV attacks, resulting in a fatality. Zaporizhzhia sustained new air raid warnings and confirmed further ground activity in Sumy and Donetsk (Yablonovka, Mirnoye). Dnipropetrovsk Oblast continues to be a focus of Russian information operations regarding ground breakthroughs. Chasiv Yar in Donetsk Oblast remains a highly contested area, with new reporting of active combat. Pokrovsk direction remains the most intense combat area. Lipetsk Oblast, Russia, now under temporary air traffic restrictions due to unspecified security concerns. Kyiv Oblast and Cherkasy Oblast are under active UAV threat. Shahed UAVs are now confirmed heading towards Nikopol (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast), Bila Tserkva (Kyiv Oblast), Pervomaisk (Mykolaiv Oblast), Smila (Cherkasy Oblast), Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi (Cherkasy Oblast), and Kirovohrad Oblast. New groups of Shaheds are moving from northern Chernihiv Oblast towards Kyiv Oblast, from Bila Tserkva towards Zhytomyr Oblast, from Kharkiv Oblast towards Poltava Oblast, and from the Black Sea area towards Odesa Oblast. Kyiv City is under air raid alarm. Ballistic missile threat detected over Zaporizhzhia. Widespread air alerts across central, northern, and eastern Ukraine, including Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, and Vinnytsia Oblasts. This indicates a very broad air assault. Up to 30 Shahed UAVs are confirmed in Poltava Oblast. NEW: Explosions confirmed in Odesa as Russia attacks with UAVs. A Shahed UAV allegedly struck a maternity hospital in Odesa. Lubny (Poltava Oblast) is now explicitly named as a target of Russian intent. (CONFIDENCE: HIGH).
