Eastern Ukraine:

  • The situation in Uspenovka, Veselyi Hai and Annovka is described by Ukrainian channels as "critical".
  • Russian forces continue to advance in the south of Sontsivka, liberating Zarya and taking neighboring tree lines.
  • Russian forces are pushing from Novotroitskoye towards the west.

Monitor the withdrawal of Russian forces from Syria, and their potential influence in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Monitor the activity of ISIS and Syrian rebel forces, and maintain contact with international partners to analyze and respond to the conflict in Syria.

  9. Analyze the Implications of New Technologies: Pay special attention to new drone and cyber warfare technologies that are being deployed by both sides, and implement defenses for these systems.
